RID United is an organization of Republicans, Independents, and Democrats committed to empowering individuals, educating our communities, and energizing a movement for truth, accountability, and integrity in our government.

      RID United exists to fulfill our mission of empowering, educating, and energizing people to have an impact on their communities and on their government representatives. It provides a forum for networking and sharing ideas and actions and for providing support for its participants.

       It began on Feb. 17, 2025. Concerned citizens from all over Preble County met in downtown Eaton to address the far right-wing behaviors of the president and the MAGA Republicans. Those who met together included disaffected Republicans, concerned Independents, and Democrats. Those assembled agreed that they wanted to work together on a continuing basis and formed RID United to make that happen.

       By providing a forum for conversation and action, RID United helps citizens reach out to each other and find common interests to address in our communities. Regular RID United meetings provide the forum. Regular rallies at the Bicentennial Garden in Eaton help spread the word of the organization’s purpose and educate the community about the challenges our country is facing under the current administration. Such awareness and involvement can lead to community-wide action to find truth, accountability, and integrity. RID United meets monthly on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the Eaton Youth Center. Meeting times rotate monthly from 1-2 p.m. one month, then 7-8 p.m. the alternate month to provide opportunities for people to participate.
